The NIBCO® gate valve features a screw-in bonnet for service where infrequent maintenance is required. Non-rising stem gate valves are used when positive shutoff is required and a space saving is necessary. The gate valve is constructed of high quality lead-free* dezincification-resistant (DZR) performance bronze silicon alloy per ASTM specifications. The lead-free valve is recommended for applications that deliver water for human consumption, including commercial and residential construction. Female threaded ends allow for ease of installation.
